This is a rodent protection
loose fiber with slotted core design cable for duct installation.
The outer sheath is made of nylon. Nylon is known for
its harder and tougher material characteristics compared
to PE, thus provides good protection against rodents.
Being completely non-metallic, it can be installed in
environments where there are electrical interference,
for example alongside power lines.
It can be supplied with up to 24 loose
fibers; either single-mode, multimode or both.
The loose fiber, designed together with
slotted core technique provides a cable with good fiber
protection and easy installation.
Water blocking filling compound prevents
water penetration along the cable.
