Simplex cable design is a flexible,
non-jelly filled cable recommended for use in telecommunication
stations for interconnection between the optical line
system and the Optical Distribution Frame (ODF) as pigtails
or pathcords. It is also suitable for Local Area Network
(LAN), connections to amplifier equipment and precision
instrument.
It is supplied with a single
tight buffered fiber; either single-mode or multimode.
This cable can be terminated using a wide
variety of connectors.
