Slotted core design, integral bearer "figure-8", eight fiber ribbon, 104-192 fibers

This is an eight fiber ribbon aerial installation cable with integral bearer for installation on poles with a maximum span distance of 75m.

It can be supplied with 104 to 192 fibers with eight fiber ribbon; either single-mode, multimode or both.

High packing density of the fibers is provided with the ribbon technology. This enables a small outer diameter of the cable even for large fiber counts.

The strength member and the slotted core design provide superior protection for the ribbon fibers.

A suspension steel wire integrated (integral bearer) with the sheath created the characteristic "figure-8" profile well known for easy installation. The technique is the same as the one used for copper cables of the same design.

Water blocking filling compound prevents water penetration along the cable.
