Our manufacturing plant in Shah Alam houses 7,000 square meters of today's most advanced facilities for the design, development and production of fiber optic cable. Equipped with highly automated production capabilities, we are able to meet clients specifications and deployment and schedules in the best and most efficient manner possible.

Quality begins with strict adherence to international industry standards. At OPCOM, optical fibers, cables and cable assemblies are subjected to a series of tests during the manufacturing process where the fiber, the cable's strength and light transmission performance are verified. Our commitment towards total quality is certified with the Quality Management System MS ISO 9001:2000 certification.

We were also awarded with the MS ISO 14001:2004 Environment Management System certification. This is to ensure that all employees work in a quality environment, with constant improvements, and strict pollution control measures.

All OPCOM optical fiber cables are tested in accordance with industrial standards such as ITU-T (International Telecommunication Union-Telecommunication Standardization Sector) and IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission). This ensures that only the highest grade cable leaves our factory.

At OPCOM Cables, we have the experience in the design, manufacturing and installation of optical fiber cables. Training in the installation and splicing of optical fiber cables can be provided by us either at our factory in Shah Alam or at the customer's premises.
